IMG_0970I am the Midwest correspondent for the global news service AFP, Agence France-Presse, and was previously a reporter with the public radio economy and business news program Marketplace and a correspondent for the now-shuttered CNN Radio.

I have worked at NPR, for programs such as All Things Considered, Morning Edition, Day To Day, News & Notes, and others; with SoundVision Productions on The Really Big Questions and  BURN: An Energy Journal; and with a number of other local, national and international outlets.

Me, reporting the 2012 presidential election results from the Obama campaign headquarters at the McCormick Convention Center in Chicago.

Some of my other work includes: LA Public Media (a former project of the CPB and Radio Bilingue), where I produced video and audio reports,  and Yahoo! News, where I produced multimedia news projects and managed partnerships with CBS’s 60 Minutes and Public Radio International.

I live in Chicago, am a Los Angeleno at heart, and am an avid consumer of the arts – especially classical music and opera.
