Hillary Clinton v. Barack Obama poll

The question isn’t, who do you want to win, but who do you think will win. The answer from the more than 13,000 people who took the poll so far seems to reflect the news. . .

In our Yahoo! News 60 Minutes segment on Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, we included a poll asking a question that most polls haven’t been asking: who do you think will win the nomination, Clinton or Obama.

The question isn’t, who do you want to win, but who do you think will win. The answer from the more than 13,000 people who took the poll so far seems to reflect the news: Obama won by 61% of the vote.

The segment is a unique one, in that it offers tiny glimpses into the non-polished, real personalities of both candidates. I found it fascinating that Barack Obama plays basketball on every election night, becuase he considers it good luck, or that Hillary Clinton swears by eating hot peppers to stay healthy and always uses hand sanitizers.

No, this isn’t information that would decide someone’s vote. But, it is a satisfying glimpse into the lives of people who we are seeing, hearing, reading so much about, but yet seem to know very little.
